Ethos, Vision and Values

'A family community living in Faith, Hope and Love.'

Corinthians 13:13

The 12 Disciples

Just as Jesus formed a family of Disciples, the school embraces its school family and wider community. Mark 6:7-13,  points out several examples of teamwork and the importance it plays. We celebrate everyone as an individual but understand that our place in the community brings us all together.

Faith is essential to Christianity. It is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

The purpose of faith is to lead us to know the heart of God and then trust His ways to guide us.

Hope is the fuel that keeps faith alive in our quest; the aspirations and ambitions of our children for the future.

Biblically hope looks ahead to the future promises in Christ that are not yet fully realised at this point in history. Hope is when your faith is expressed towards the future.

Love is respect, acceptance and the drive for forming positive relationships.

True love is an action. Love is when you do what’s best for another at whatever cost to yourself (John 15:13).
